Breast Cancer Awareness - The Fight Continues

According to the Living Beyond Breast Cancer Foundation, Breast Cancer Awareness Month reminds us of the many lives lost to this disease and our personal experiences with it.

  • An estimated 290,560 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in the U.S. in 2022, along with 51,400 new cases of non-invasive breast cancer. It is estimated that 43,780 people will die from metastatic breast cancer.



  • One in eight U.S. women and one in 833 U.S. men will develop invasive breast cancer.

  • Breast cancer was the most commonly diagnosed cancer globally in 2020 with 2.26 million cases. 685,00 died from the disease.
